Boundary Co-op in Deloraine, Manitoba is seeking a Full-Time Food Clerk for the Bakery/Deli Department. The successful candidate will assist in daily store operations, prepare and price products, and maintain equipment while delivering friendly customer service to our members.

We value teamwork, reliability and a strong work ethic, with weekend shifts required and a pension/benefits package available. Training and opportunities for growth are offered within a cooperative framework.

What you?ll do:

Reporting to the Bakery/Deli Manager, the Bakery/Deli Clerk is responsible for:

• Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Boissevain Food Store, Bakery/Deli Department;
• Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety;
• Product preparation, packaging, pricing and merchandising;
• Cleaning & Maintenance of Bakery/Deli Department equipment and work station;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in the retail and:

• A grade 12 or combination of relevant experience;
• Experience of food store operations is desired but not essential;
• Essential to be available to weekend shifts;
• You are able to delegate tasks when given multiple tasks at once;
• You?re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members;
• You?re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do;
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
