Longo is seeking a Bakery Assistant Department Manager - Full Time to lead and support the bakery team in a fast-paced retail environment. The role involves mentoring Team Members, managing daily operations, and ensuring excellent customer service while upholding health, safety and loss-prevention standards.

The ideal candidate has bakery department experience, cake decorating skills, strong communication, and the ability to drive productivity and team engagement in a store setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a bakery department with a solid understanding of product knowledge.
• Ability to decorate cakes and pastries.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships with Team Members and Customers.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Ownership to resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
