Job summary

Longo is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Department Manager to lead a fast-paced store team in Ontario. You will assist the Food Service Manager to ensure daily operations run smoothly and to drive exceptional customer service.

This leadership role emphasizes mentoring Team Members, coordinating with store leadership, and upholding health, safety, and food safety standards while supporting sales and merchandising efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a food service department with product knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with team members and customers.
• Ability to lead, coach, motivate and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
