Job summary

The Elmbrook Farm in Picton, ON is seeking a part-time Bakery Assistant to support the preparation and production of sourdough baked goods, pack customer orders, and keep the bakery running smoothly. Candidates should be prepared for early mornings and a physical work environment. Experience in a bakery or food service is helpful, but not required.

Food Handler certification is a bonus. Teamwork, attention to detail, reliability and a positive attitude are valued at our small community-focused

We are seeking a part-time Bakery Assistant to join our team in Picton store. You will assist with the preparation and production of sourdough baked goods, packing customer orders, and keeping the bakery running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Pack and prepare customer orders accurately
• Assist with washing dishes and cleaning bakery equipment and work areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work with team members to ensure orders are completed accurately and on timeFollow food safety and sanitation practices
• Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn to the workplace

Requirements

• Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is an asset, but not required
• Food Handler Certification is an asset, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
