Job summary

COBS Bread is seeking personable Bakers to share their love of fresh bread with our loyal customers. No experience is necessary—just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Bakers lead our freshness commitment and start with an empty bakery that fills with artisan bread and treats by day’s end.

You will work mornings with a small team, bake daily following recipes, and ensure a welcoming customer experience. Training and development programs are available.

Qualifications

• Early riser who can work independently or as part of a small team.
• Pride in delivering quality baked goods to the community.
• Positive attitude and good organizational skills.
• Commitment to the success of the team and bakery.

Responsibilities

• Bake each morning as part of a small team following recipes.
• Keep the bakery clean and support a great customer experience.
• Read production schedules and recipes, measure ingredients, shape dough, and operate ovens.
