Job summary

COBS Bread in Burnaby is seeking personable Bakers to share their love of fresh bread with our loyal customers. You'll lead our freshness commitment, bake each morning, and work with a small team to deliver a great community experience.

No experience is required—just the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Shifts run early with weekend hours; 3 am–11 am on Sat/Sun and 4 am–12 pm on other days. Pay is $23/hour with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• No experience required—just the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Early riser with reliable transportation.
• Strong teamwork and organization.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift light loads.

Responsibilities

• Bake each morning following carefully crafted recipes.
• Work with your team to keep the bakery clean and provide a great customer experience.
• Read production schedules, measure and mix ingredients, mould dough, and operate ovens.
