Job summary

COBS Bread in District of North Vancouver is seeking a bakery team member to assist with dough preparation, baking, decorating, and fulfilling custom orders in a fast-paced on-site bake shop. Training will be provided as no prior experience is required.

The role emphasizes accurate, detail-oriented work and teamwork to ensure high-quality products and timely service in a large-volume bakery environment.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Prepare special orders
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas
• Operate machinery
• Organize and maintain inventory
