Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Canada is seeking a part-time Backroom & Receiving Outfitter in Ottawa (Kanata). The role reports to the Operations Manager - Canada and oversees backend operations including receiving, warehouse activities, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and housekeeping.

Responsibilities include counting and verifying incoming P.O.s, stocking from back room to the sales floor, repackaging, sorting and facing new merchandise, plus updating pricing and signs and assisting with purges

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
• Customer service oriented team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and contacts.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and move/handle merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Systematically receive P.O.s that come into the building.
• Physical count of all packages and verify with packing slips.
• Stocking activities from back room to sales floor.
• Repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging newly arriving merchandise.
• General replenishment, updates to pricing and signage, min/max checks, shelves full and tagged.
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary.
