Cohere's customers self-serve our API without intervention. This team makes our complex technology understandable, trustworthy, and accessible for payment.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Enhance the platform’s authentication, billing, and payment systems
• Develop minimal, efficient code suitable for low-resource environments with strict deployment protocols
• Reinvent solutions when necessary, especially where security and privacy are critical, avoiding common libraries or tools
• Collaborate with researchers to deploy cutting-edge models and techniques

You may be a good fit if:

• You have experience building payment systems, dunning flows, and SaaS or freemium products
• You have 8+ years of backend coding experience in Golang and Python
• You are comfortable working across the stack, understanding and fixing issues beyond your main codebase
• You have worked in both large enterprises and startups
• You thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
