Job summary

TD London, Ontario is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Online & Mobile backend team. From Day 1 you will be an integral member, delivering microservices for TD's Banking, Direct Investing, Mobile Payments, and more.

You will work onsite in London, Ontario, collaborating in an Agile environment to design, implement, test, and maintain Java/Spring Boot services, ensuring secure, scalable APIs and high-quality code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with Git, Maven and Postman.
• Familiarity with AI tools and cloud tech an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices to support our iOS, Android, and Easyweb UIs.
• Perform Unit and System Integration testing
• Troubleshoot and determine root cause and resolution for application defects
• Adhere to secure coding practices and participate in peer code reviews
• Work with Agile Scrum teams to design and build APIs according to requirements
• Ensure reusable, maintainable software with proper tests and documentation
• Manage multiple projects and deliver on timelines
