Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Toronto, Canada is seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java or Golang and a solid understanding of microservices, containers, and cloud-native tech. You will design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services and REST APIs.

You will work with Docker and Kubernetes, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in Java or Golang.
Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
Docker and Kubernetes experience.
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines familiarity.
Proficiency in Git.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, debugging, and unit testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java or Golang.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
Build, package, and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Work with cloud platforms and orchestration technologies for deployment and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Implement unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and code quality practices.
Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control for automated deployments.
Troubleshoot application, deployment, and production issues.
