Job description

You will join a team of dynamic account managers across the country while being responsible for achieving the organization’s strategic and commercial goals with a selection of our key on-premise accounts and customers. You will have the tools and support to build strong relationships with key customers, develop customer strategies and business plans, create and sell-in compelling promotional programming, and ensure high-quality organization and execution within a designated market. You will play a critical role in elevating the portfolio of Bacardi brands in your designated market and accounts.

Keeping the Consumer at the Heart you will:

  1. Lead meetings with key accounts to present Bacardi products and services by understanding the customer’s business processes, plans, needs, and critical success factors, demonstrating understanding of the competitive landscape through trends and data.
  2. Ensure objectives and KPIs are met on a quarterly basis.
  3. Execute brand education and engagement programming that connects to trade, consumers, and internal teams.
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally utilizing Bacardi resources to maximize performance and sales efforts, increasing volumes while building long-lasting business opportunities.
  5. Develop and execute promotional activations, programs, new distribution, menu placements, drink features, and educate customer staff on the Bacardi portfolio to achieve sales objectives.
  6. Participate in local events and support national initiatives, often in the evenings or on weekends.
  7. Support the Retail channel with brand education, host product seminars with key Liquor Jurisdictions, and high-profile accounts.
  8. Track all activities and submit activity reports including KPI progress, account visits, trainings, wins, competitive activities, and special projects.
  9. Manage T&E and monthly activation budgets efficiently.
  10. Participate in overall market commercial planning, including weekly and monthly team meetings.
  11. Achieve year-over-year growth within your account list and meet monthly KPIs.
  12. Understand customer’s strategic business challenges and priorities.
  13. Act as a role model for Compliance and Ethics, embodying Bacardi’s core values of fearless, family, and a founder’s mentality.

The Experience Needed to Create Your Legacy:

  1. Strong understanding of bartending and cocktailing.
  2. 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role, with a passion for relationship management and consumer-focused activities.
  3. Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to small groups including executives, vendors, and customers.
  4. Organized, independent, multitasker, and ethically professional.
  5. Ability to analyze information for reports, strategies, and problem-solving.
  6. Proficient in consultative selling and using the 7 steps to a sales call.
  7. Effective time management and goal prioritization skills.
  8. Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  9. Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education preferred.
