Job summary

Primus Workforce Ltd. currently seeks experienced B pressure Welders for in-shop work in Lethbridge. You will read blueprints, weld with GTAW/SMAW, flame-cut, braze and solder, and shape metal using brakes and shears.

Ideal candidates hold a Journeyman welder or Red Seal, B-Pressure Ticket, and Fall Protection, with a strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Journeyman welder or Red Seal is required.
• B-Pressure Ticket is required.
• Fall Protection training is expected.
• High degree of attention to prevent injury to self and others.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using GTAW/SMAW.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment.
• Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping machines.
• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers.

We are currently looking for experienced B pressure Welders for IN SHOP WORK IN LETHBRIDGE

• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate brazing and soldering equipment
• Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines
• Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers

Requirements

• Journeyman welder or Red Seal Ticket.
• MIG Root, F3/F4
