Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting B Pressure Rig Welders to join Heritage Constructors Inc at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta. This outage role runs with 12-hour shifts, days and nights, and requires on-site welding in yard and field environments.

Welders must be proficient in double jointing, position welding and roll welding on pipe and fittings, joining or severing metals and fabricating parts for construction and manufacturing plants.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certificate in welding indicating formal credentialing.
• Certified B-Pressure Ticket as required for high-pressure welds.
• Energy Safety Canada CSO and Confined Space trainings.
• Energy Safety Canada Wood Buffalo / Wildlife awareness.
• Basic Rigging and Overhead Crane operation training.
• First Aid Level A or C certification, Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs as necessary.

This is for an Outage from Oct 9 to Oct 26.

Jardeg is recruiting B Pressure Rig Welders to join the Heritage Constructors team at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta. This is an Outage, starting on September 11th going until Septnember 20th, shifts are 12 hours, both days and nights. All Rig Welders are required to drive themselves with their rig site. While working on-site, workers will be staying at the Wapasu camp which will provide hot meals, lodging, workout facilities, Wi-Fi and much more!. Rig Welders- are expected to be proficient with double jointing, position welding, and roll welding on both pipe and pipe fittings. Welding will be completed in both yard and field environment. Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.

• Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when the material is available (some welds may be customized while others may be repetitive procedures to complete the work)
• Follow various company policies and procedures.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment to complete assigned tasks
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
