Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. in New Westminster, BC, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support meal service in the Residence/Home. You will help set up, serve, and clean up, and deliver trays as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with kitchen cleanliness, supporting catering during events, and helping orient new dietary staff. Health and safety compliance is required, with preference for senior care experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Food Handler's Certificate.
• Experience in food service and working with seniors preferred.
• Must possess or be enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physically able to lift and transfer heavy items and stand/walk for most of the shift.
• Second language ability is an asset.
• Provide Vulnerable Sector Check or be willing to obtain one.
