AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support residents with meals and dining experiences in our Ontario communities. You will assist with setup, service, and cleanup, while helping maintain a clean dining environment and support special events.

A Food Handler's Certificate is required, with preference for seniors‑care or food service experience. The role involves lifting and moving items, standing for extended periods, and may require bilingual abilities.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate is required.
• Preference for experience in food service or senior care.
• Must be or enrolled in Food Service Worker Training Program.
• Able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for long periods.
• Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist in setup and preparation for service of beverages, salads, desserts, etc.
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and cutlery after each seating.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining area; assist with catering and special events.
• Assist in orientation and training of new dietary employees.
• Follow health and safety legislation and departmental procedures.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring they receive appealing meals in a welcoming atmosphere.As a Dietary Aide at AgeCare, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
