Job summary

Manitoba Public Insurance is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Analyst to lead the implementation, security, monitoring, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure solutions across compute, storage, network, and security domains. The role supports DEV/OPS and automation to ensure reliable cloud environments and scalable operations.

Responsibilities include deploying Azure IaaS/PaaS, managing containers with Docker and Kubernetes, optimizing costs, and maintaining AD, backups, DR plans, and compliance with

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in IT or related field.
• Azure Fundamentals or equivalent certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years IT experience with at least 2 years on cloud platforms and automation.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions including compute, storage, network and security.
• Support design, configuration, and maintenance of Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS VMs and networking services.
• Build, deploy, and maintain containers (Docker) and orchestrated with Kubernetes.
• Optimize Azure buildouts for cost and performance (VM optimization, reserved instances).
• Participate in Azure projects delivery and implementation.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Active Directory.
• Implement and maintain cloud backups with policy and retention.
• Implement and maintain cloud storage with cost containment.
• Develop and document Disaster Recover plans.
• Adhere to architectural standards and guidelines.
