Required Skills

• 10-15 years of total experience with at least 3+ years of expertise in Cloud data warehouse technologies on Azure data platform, including ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, etc.
• At least one end-to-end Azure data platform implementation covering architecture, design, data engineering, data visualization, and data governance (data quality and lineage).
• Significant experience with data migrations, Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Lake, and Data Marts.
• Proficiency in SQL and Data Warehousing lifecycle.
• Experience with cloud ETL/ELT tools like DBT, ADF, Matillion, or similar, and exposure to Big Data ecosystems like Hadoop.
• Experience with traditional data warehouse solutions such as Oracle, Teradata, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with Business & IT stakeholders.
• Ability to plan and estimate project efforts.
• Understanding of Data Vault, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric architecture patterns.
• Experience working in Agile environments.

Good To Have Skills

• Knowledge of Python and PySpark.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub.
• Understanding of Banking and Financial Services domains.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support on data architecture, engineering, modeling, consumption, migration, and governance on Azure.
• Work with cross-functional teams, onsite/offshore, and stakeholders including CXOs.
• Create technical proposals and respond to RFPs.
• Discuss, design, optimize solutions, and plan deployment.
• Conduct workshops and meetings, prepare PoC and POVs, liaise with partners like Microsoft and Databricks.
