Job summary

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation is seeking an Azure Applications Architect to design and implement cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform. The role supports integration, ERP, web development, and end-user support with a focus on scalable, secure architectures.

Hybrid work with three days in office and two remote days. Location options include Toronto, Burlington, or London offices. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience and Microsoft certifications, including Azure-related qualifications.

Qualifications

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture and cloud-native designs.
• Lead architecture design, integration, and deployment of Azure applications and services.
• Define and implement cloud architecture standards, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Develop and enforce DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, IaC) for Azure environments.
• Guide cloud migration strategies from on-premises to Azure.
• Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and reliability of Azure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead external customer system design and architecture alignment with objectives.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to extract requirements and present solutions.
• Oversee multiple IT initiatives, track progress and quality against milestones.
• Provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycle.
• Create architectural documentation and end-to-end blueprints.
• Identify system improvements for scalability and availability.
• Support ERP and web developers on Azure features and functionality.
