What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Enterprise Business Intelligence Technology. You’ll be at the heart of a team bringing innovative technology to life as part of CIBC’s digital transformation. As a Informatica & Azure Developer you’ll lead the technical design, development and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications.

How You'll Succeed

• Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.
• Strategic planning - Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
• Analyzing Business Requirements - Research and analyze business requests and recommend solutions. Collaborate with BAs and BSAs for a full understanding of business requirements.
• Coordination - Participate in User Acceptance Testing support to troubleshoot complex issues on application and technologies. Effectively interact with stakeholders, end users and business analysts to provide project status updates.
• Leadership skills - Act as the mobile development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
  
  

Who You Are

• You can demonstrate 1-3 years of hands-on development experience in: Cloud (Azure DataBricks), ETL (Informatica, DataBricks, ADF, ADLS, Syncsort, etc.), Python/Scala, Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL MI), Unix/Linux, and Tools (GitHub, TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Autosys). Have experienced migrating infrastructure to latest currency (Infrastructure upgrades) including migration to Azure Cloud, migration of ETL (Informatica) to Azure ETL. It’s a plus if you have minimal understanding of the concept of all capabilities created by CIBC Azure foundation team.
