Job summary

E.G. Gray Transportation is a family-owned trucking company servicing Canada and the US. We are seeking an AZ licensed owner-operator to run cross-border loads from our US division, with routes originating from Oshawa and other Ontario yards.

You will work full-time on steady lanes and enjoy paid drops and 1-hour paid waiting time. Responsibilities include managing HVUT/transponders, fuel planning, and direct-deposit settlements. Fast Card required or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• MUST have FAST Card or be willing to apply.
• AZ Licence (required).
• AZ/T/T driving: 1 year (required).
• Cross-border experience into the US preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-border routes into the US with TL/LTL freight.
• Operate as an owner-operator with company-provided loads and coordinates.
• Utilize company yards in Oshawa, Etobicoke, London, Peterborough or Trenton.

Steady lanes include but not limited to; WI, MN, TX, PA, NJ, VI, MI, MO, VA, NC, AL, GA, KS & MA etc. both LTL and TL with the fast majority being LTL, mostly no touch freight.

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Insurance
• Satellite installation and all satellite communication fees
• Annual inspections
• Bi-Weekly Settlement with direct deposit
• Fleet discounts available for tires and other parts

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) and Customs Decal/Transponder
• WSIB or equivalent coverage
• Out of province coverage
