Job summary

E.G. Gray Transportation is seeking an AZ/OTR Owner Operator to service US and Canadian lanes. FAST Card is required, and drivers may work from multiple yards across Ontario and nearby regions.

Join a family-owned carrier with steady freight, bi-weekly direct deposit, and paid waits and delays, plus support for HVUT and cross-border compliance. In-person work from various yards with full-time permanent status.

Qualifications

• FAST Card is mandatory.
• AZ Licence required with 1 year AZ/T/T experience preferred.
• Cross-border trucking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ/TT routes across US-Canada border.
• Bi-weekly settlement with direct deposit.
• Handle satellite communications setup and equipment.
• Ensure HVUT and customs decals/transponder compliance.
• Work from multiple yards and maintain safety standards.

E.G. Gray Transportation is family owned and operated servicing Canada and the US for over 30 years currently recruiting Owner Operators for our US division. Work from any of our yards; Oshawa, Etobicoke, London, Peterborough or Trenton.

Steady lanes include but not limited to; FL, WI, MN, TX, PA, NJ, VI, MI, MO, VA, NC, AL, GA, KS & MA etc. both LTL and TL with the fast majority being LTL, mostly no touch freight.

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Insurance
• Satellite installation and all satellite communication fees
• Annual inspections
• Bi-Weekly Settlement with direct deposit
• Fleet discounts available for tires and other parts

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) and Customs Decal/Transponder
• WSIB or equivalent coverage
• Out of province coverage
