Job summary

E.G. Gray Transportation is seeking an AZ licensed, FAST Card–holding Owner Operator to run cross-border US lanes from various Canadian yards. You will operate as an independent contractor for our US division, with guidance on heavy freight and no-touch loads where applicable.

Roles include managing insurance, regulatory compliance, and timely settlements. Work is in-person from multiple yards in Ontario and nearby regions.

Qualifications

• Must have FAST Card
• AZ Licence required
• 1 year AZ/T/T driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Insurance and licensing compliance
• Satellite installation and ongoing communication fees covered
• Bi-weekly settlement with direct deposit
• Out-of-province coverage and HVUT/Customs decals where applicable

E.G. Gray Transportation is family owned and operated servicing Canada and the US for over 30 years currently recruiting Owner Operators for our US division. Work from any of our yards; Oshawa, Etobicoke, London, Peterborough or Trenton.

Steady lanes include but not limited to; FL, WI, MN, TX, PA, NJ, VI, MI, MO, VA, NC, AL, GA, KS & MA etc. both LTL and TL with the fast majority being LTL, mostly no touch freight.

COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Insurance
• Satellite installation and all satellite communication fees
• Annual inspections
• Bi-Weekly Settlement with direct deposit
• Fleet discounts available for tires and other parts

CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) and Customs Decal/Transponder
• WSIB or equivalent coverage
• Out of province coverage
