The Headlines

Six Pints Collective is currently seeking a DZ Distribution Driver to join our team at our Distribution Centre in Stayner, Ontario for Creemore Springs Brewery. As a DZ Distribution Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of our products throughout Ontario, providing exceptional customer service and representing the brewery positively, impacting our business success.

The Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of Six Pints products across Ontario.
• Unload products at each delivery stop, maneuvering items that can exceed 100 lbs and up to 150 lbs.
• Act as an ambassador of our products and brewery, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with customers.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, including pre-trip and post-trip checks, following driver procedures.
• Maintain vehicle compliance through daily inspections and reporting to the Distribution Manager.
• Perform minor repairs to ensure vehicle safety and operation.
• Maintain a professional image of the truck and driver to customers and the public.
• Balance product inventory daily with delivery invoices.
• Collect payments from customers as needed.
• Ensure the load's security and accuracy before departure each morning.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for expanding business to the sales department.

The Other Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 19 years or older.
• Valid DZ license with a clean driving record (no alcohol-related infractions).
• Comfortable moving heavy objects (minimum 100 lbs).
• Ability to drive in rural and urban areas, including downtown Toronto.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong organizational skills.
• Friendly and courteous towards customers and colleagues.
• Physically capable of handling kegs and carts in various settings, including stairs and snow banks.
