Job summary

Markstone Landscaping Ltd. is seeking an AZ Driver to safely transport equipment and materials across local GTA/GTHA routes. This role works on-site with our landscape crews and involves loading, unloading, and setting up equipment, not just driving.

The ideal candidate has an AZ license, 2+ years driving, a clean record, and comfort with hands-on site work. You will follow MTO regulations, maintain logs, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ license with 2+ years of driving experience.
• Comfortable being hands-on and physically active at job sites.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a driver\'s abstract check.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment on trailers is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of MTO regulations and load securement standards.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working flexible daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate AZ-licensed vehicles to transport equipment, materials and machinery within local GTA/GTHA.
• Load, secure and transport heavy equipment using flat trailers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per MTO regulations.
• Plan efficient local routes considering site access and time-sensitive deliveries.
• Work alongside the crew at job sites, assisting with loading/unloading and setup.
