Position Purpose: Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only ensure the customers’ products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, but they also represent our company, building lasting relationships with customers.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Drive tractor trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, including over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes, to deliver and unload food products safely and timely.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and promptly.
  • Perform safety checks (pre/post trip inspections), ensure compliance with safety standards, and report issues.
  • Inspect trailers for proper loading and security, verify freight, and complete all required paperwork accurately.
  • Deliver orders according to schedule, unload products, verify deliveries with customers, and obtain signatures.
  • Handle customer returns, damaged goods, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Secure all equipment and maintain cleanliness of tractor, trailers, and work areas.
  • Maintain records of hours of service as per regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of commercial driving experience.
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Meet licensing/certification requirements.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past 3 years.
  • Pass criminal background check and road test.
  • Ability to lift and move freight of varying sizes and weights.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Over 1 year of foodservice distribution experience.
  • Experience with onboard computer and electronic log systems.
  • Experience with handheld delivery scanning systems.
  • Customer service experience.
