Job summary

GLS Canada is seeking an AZ City Driver for our Vaughan terminal. The role covers driving AZ/DZ trucks, safety checks, and on-time deliveries from Monday to Friday, with long hours and incentives. Salary is $28.12 per hour plus $1 per stop and monthly incentives.

Qualifications

• AZ license required.
• 6 months of commercial driving experience as stated in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Complete inspection reports and ensure daily vehicle readiness.

Job description

We are currently looking for an AZ City Driver for our Vaughan terminal.

Schedule: Monday to Friday start times range from 5:00am to 9:00am, 10-12 hours/day
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $28.12 per hour + $1.00 per stop and MONTHLY incentives

Our trucks:

• Trucks 5 years old or younger
• Semi-trailer tractors with air suspension

You will be required to:

• Driving safely
• Drive DZ trucks when required as well
• Deliver the goods within the prescribed time
• Perform the vehicle inspection before departure
• Complete inspection reports and report defects

Do you fit the job profile?

• Hold an AZ license
• 6 months of Commercial Driving experience
• Have a good driving record
• Good physical ability
• Be autonomous and resourceful
