Job summary

Sun Life Canada is seeking an AVP, Compliance Technology and Innovation to lead transformation across technology, analytics and risk management. You will partner with Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit and technology leaders to drive governance and enterprise alignment, delivering a data-driven roadmap and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Governance, Technology, Analytics, or related discipline.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs and strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks, governance, and risk management.
• Experience leveraging technology, analytics, automation, and AI to solve complex challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead vision, strategy, and roadmap for Compliance Technology, Innovation, Insight & Analytics.
• Oversee compliance technology operations, platform enhancements, release management, and operational excellence.
• Design and deploy scalable analytics, automation, AI, and GenAI solutions to improve decision-making.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and represent Compliance in enterprise tech initiatives.
• Coach and develop high-performing teams across Technology, Innovation, and Analytics.
