Jeppesen ForeFlight, Inc. in Montreal is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our international team.

This hybrid role requires strong technical support, Linux administration, and experience with Python, AWS, and Git to manage production systems and crew planning tools. You will collaborate with System Experts and Service Delivery Managers, ensure SLA-aligned support, and maintain server installations while guiding customers through patches and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software development or advanced technical support role.
• Good knowledge in Python language.
• Good knowledge of Unix and/or Linux.
• Good knowledge with shell scripting.
• Familiar with AWS concepts.
• Good knowledge in version control systems such as Git.
• Fluency in English language.

Responsibilities

• Become an authority on several production system installations and manage technical aspects of the applications.
• Provide advanced technical support, in relation to the SLA(s), for the Crew portfolio focusing on crew planning products.
• Assist the client with knowledge injections, proactive problem solving and daily management of the production installation.
• Maintain Linux installations on company servers and recommend patches/upgrades to clients.
• Work with system requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
