Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Project & Capital Corporate Accountant to support project-based financial operations including job costing, project financial management and capital asset accounting. You will work with engineering, operations and other stakeholders to ensure accurate tracking, reporting and compliance, while contributing to month-end close, budgeting and audits.

Location is Truro, Nova Scotia.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or active pursuit is considered an asset.
• Post-secondary degree/diploma in accounting, finance or related field; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage job costing, budget tracking, forecasting and project billing.
• Partner with engineering and operations to monitor project costs and revenue.
• Oversee capital asset accounting: capitalization, depreciation, disposals, budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and KPIs for project oversight.
• Support month-, quarter- and year-end close, audits and budgeting processes.
