Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. You will lead budgets, forecasts, internal reporting, and financial analysis across the Inland Group, collaborating with operations, sales, accounting and leadership to provide actionable insights and improve profitability.

This is an 18-month contract with the potential to become full time, located in Charlotte, North Carolina or Truro, Nova Scotia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is preferred.
Minimum five years in finance, accounting, FP&A, or related analytical role.

Responsibilities

Support annual budgeting process and upload budgets into the general ledger.
Prepare forecasts and projections using inputs from sales and operations.
Conduct month-end reviews, analyze variances, and provide insights to management.
Develop and maintain financial/operational performance metrics and reporting packages.
Build advanced Excel models to support planning and decision-making.
Develop pricing and profitability models for new opportunities with cross-functional teams.
Mentor junior FP&A staff and collaborate across locations.
