FTAI Aviation Ltd. in Montreal seeks a Manufacturing & System Configuration Engineer to own configuration alignment for Power engines on the turbine program. You will ensure BOM management, system setup, and route optimization while coordinating with Montreal teams and IT to enable efficient ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related).
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering or systems/configuration in regulated environments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP/PLM systems and part-structure management.
• Ability to liaise across Program, Engineering, IT & Integration teams.
• Strong understanding of BOM structures, work orders, and routing setup.

Responsibilities

• Own Power engines configuration alignment for turbine portion (Aero & Aeroderivative).
• Coordinate between Power engineering and Montreal teams for BOM and system setup.
• Collaborate with IT & Integration to optimize BOM structures in work orders and routers.
• Align build sheets to system structure for efficient operations during ramp-up.
• Identify gaps between configuration and program requirements and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure data reflects build and kitting needs; translate requirements into system specs.
• Monitor data integrity during ramp-up and flag production readiness risks.
