Job summary

Babcock Canada Inc. in Vancouver, BC seeks a Stores Clerk - Aviation (Permanent) to monitor inventory, receive parts, and support aviation supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of inventory management experience in aviation, a high school diploma (a related degree is a plus), and proficiency with CAMP software and MS Office. Responsibilities include shipping, documentation, and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree/diploma in a related field is an asset.
• 2-3 years of inventory management experience in an aviation setting.
• Experience receiving, storing, issuing, transporting and distributing material.
• Data entry and documentation control.
• Shipping and customs documentation experience; WHMIS training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels using CAMP software.
• Receive parts into stock via approved processes.
• Quarantine non-conforming aircraft parts and materials.
• Package and ship material to support aircraft operations and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor dangerous goods and prepare shelf-life control reports.
• Prepare outbound international shipments and customs documents.
• Collaborate with Aviation Engineering and external couriers/freight partners.
• Prioritize Aircraft on Ground items and finalize delivery arrangements.
• Report safety hazards via the SMS system and participate in training.
• This role includes an on-call rotation after business hours.
