Job summary

Chartright Air Group, based at Toronto Pearson, seeks a hands-on HR professional to support client groups across the full employee lifecycle, delivering recruitment, onboarding, changes, performance processes, and accurate HR documentation.

The ideal candidate partners with managers, remains adaptable in a fast-paced aviation environment, and uses data-driven insights for workforce planning and compensation analysis. This role is in-office at the head office.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience.
• Aviation experience is an asset.
• Proven experience across core HR functions, including full-cycle recruitment, performance management, employee relations, HR administration, and project management.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR frameworks, and best business practices.

Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with managers and employees across client groups.
• Deliver end-to-end employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, changes, performance activities, offboarding and communications.
• Provide strategic HR consultation on people management, workforce planning, succession and development using data-driven insights.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned client groups: postings, sourcing, interviews, reference checks and onboarding handoff.
• Contribute to compensation analysis and internal equity assessments to support fairness and market competitiveness.
• Support sensitive people-related matters with consistent, fair processes.
• Ensure HR programs and practices comply with legislation and internal standards.
