Zohorecruit is seeking a Geomatics Analyst (Level 2) to support aeronautical mapping and geospatial product development for aircraft systems. You will contribute to chart production, data modelling, and documentation within a specialized GIS team.

Ideal candidates have GIS/charting experience, knowledge of metadata standards, and the ability to produce functional requirements and system design docs. On-site in Ottawa with limited remote work may be available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Geomatics Analyst, GIS Specialist, or Cartographer.
• Strong GIS and cartographic production background.
• Experience with aeronautical mapping products is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 19115 metadata standards.
• Ability to author functional requirements and system design docs.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and document requirements for aircraft map-display systems.
• Develop data dictionaries and document database schemas.
• Define data sources and design plans; support design approvals.
• Create system components, interfaces, and production workflows.
• Produce operational geospatial datasets and aeronautical products.
• Prepare technical documentation and production procedures.
