Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, at YYZ airport, seeks a Catering Operations Supervisor to oversee daily shift operations, supervise frontline staff, and ensure safe, on-time catering and aircraft servicing.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain all airport clearances. You’ll coach, schedule, and enforce safety policies in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Able to obtain airport, security, and regulatory clearances (e.g., TSA, FAA, Port Authority).
• Ability to operate ground service equipment (catering trucks, forklifts, etc.).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must complete required training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Catering Transport Drivers, Leads, and staff.
• Provide direction and real-time problem resolution during shifts.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and corrective action as needed.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to policies.
• Oversee aircraft servicing and ensure on-time, accurate operations.
• Coordinate shift activities to meet operational demands and service expectations.
• Ensure compliance with airline SOPs and SLAs.
• Support scheduling execution and ensure proper staffing levels.
• Perform operational duties as needed and monitor safety procedures.
