The role includes providing patient care during air medical transport and requires a current license as Advanced Care Paramedic in Manitoba along with several certifications such as BLS and ACLS. Qualifications

• 2 years of overall experience as an Advanced Care Paramedic.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is an asset.
• Possess and Maintain a Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to rural personnel for patients experiencing complex medical conditions.
• Responsible for pre-flight and in-flight stabilization of the patient during all aspects of the medevac.
• Maintain constant communication with different groups internally and externally to ensure efficient medevacs.

Skills

Current unrestricted license as Advanced Care Paramedic in home Province/Territory

Experience providing aeromedical care

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification

Current Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification

Indigenous cultural awareness training
