Job summary

Inner Circle Agency Inc. is seeking a proactive Operations Manager to own day-to-day field operations for snow removal and seasonal landscaping in the Greater Ottawa Region.

You will lead crews, manage drivers, schedule work, ensure equipment readiness, and maintain service quality with accountability to ownership. During winter, expect demanding weather events and 24/7 availability; in warmer months, you’ll oversee landscaping projects and drive operational improvements across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong experience managing employees in hands-on field-service environments like snow removal or landscaping.
• Proven ability to lead teams, hold employees accountable, and address performance issues.
• Exceptional organization and prioritization skills in fast-changing environments.
• High personal accountability and follow-through are essential.
• Independent problem-solving without constant direction from ownership.
• Comfort with technology including CRM, GPS, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate snow removal operations, ensuring crews, drivers, equipment, and resources are organized during weather events
• Oversee landscaping and seasonal field operations, ensuring projects are staffed and completed to quality standards
• Manage field employees and drivers: scheduling, performance, accountability, hiring, discipline, termination decisions with ownership oversight
• Take ownership of operational priorities from start to finish, proactively identifying what requires attention
• Oversee trucks, equipment, maintenance, supplies, and asset management
• Resolve operational issues including property damage, client concerns, staffing, equipment, and weather changes
• Use GPS tracking, CRM systems, Excel, email to organize operations and improve efficiency
