Job summary

BGIS is seeking a skilled HVAC Journeyperson in Calgary, AB with 5+ years of licensed experience to operate facility systems and perform preventative and corrective maintenance. You will work within company processes, uphold safety standards, and support environmental and fire protection requirements.

The role involves installing, servicing, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment across client facilities while maintaining asset integrity and meeting performance expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed HVAC/Refrigeration Technician.
• Valid HVAC Certificate of Qualification for the province where work is performed.
• Strong adherence to processes, safety and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Installs air conditioning, heating, and related equipment and components.
• Overhauls and services air conditioning, heating units and systems.
• Repairs, replaces and adjusts worn or broken parts HVAC equipment.
• Repairs and adjusts valves, piping connections, fittings, and couplings.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with heating and air conditioning units and systems.
• Maintains regular monitoring, PM activities, and facility uptime.
