LKQ Canada Auto Parts, Inc is seeking an Automotive Yard Dismantler in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role offers $20/hr, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with permanent full-time employment and full benefits after 3 months.

You will remove requested parts, label items for stock, verify part quality, and contribute to daily team goals. The position requires knowledge of auto parts and a diploma in mechanics or bodywork as a strong asset.

What does a day look like for a Yard Dismantler?

• Remove requested parts to fulfill orders on vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety conscious manner
• Label and tag each part to be placed in stock
• Check the quality and product type of the inventoried parts
• Participate in daily team goals
• Other duties as assigned

What is the profile we are looking for?

• Knowledge of automotive parts
• Diploma in mechanics or bodywork (Strong Asset!)
• Hands-on job experience
• Ability to work in a team
• Must be able to lift 50lbs without restrictions
• Must own and maintain all the tools necessary

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is subject to intense physical labour, repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 50-75 lbs.

Working Conditions: Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to extreme cold & extreme heat. The noise level is moderately loud.
