Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts, Canada's largest automotive parts distributor, is hiring a Warehouse Distribution Worker for a 3-month contract at our Port Coquitlam DC. This full-time role runs 7:00 am to 3:30 pm in Port Coquitlam, BC.

You will pick and pack orders, inspect stock, scan barcodes, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and use our stock control system while keeping areas clean and safe. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and flexible shifts required.

Qualifications

• You are a high school graduate or equivalent.
• You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification is an asset.
• You are open to flexible work schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to work full time.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders and receive/put away inventory.
• Check stock for wear/damage and report faults.
• Prepare and pack special orders for stores/customers.
• Scan bar codes with a hand scanner.
• Operate electric/manual pallet jacks, forklifts, picker trucks, conveyors.
• Be cautious around moving machines and maintain safety.
• Use online stock control system for tasks.
• Perform general warehouse duties and keep areas clean.
