Job summary

Fountain Tire Grande Prairie is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. You will install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels while maintaining equipment and assisting with inventory.

We provide hands-on training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team in a clean, safe environment. We offer competitive wages ($19–$25/hour), health/dental/vision benefits, RRSP with company matching, and potential for overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience with tires preferred, but training available.
• Customer service orientation and ability to build relationships with customers and teammates.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms safely.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair TPMS.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regular schedule.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen).
