Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Saskatoon is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our service team in Saskatoon. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced technicians, and the chance to work on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

You will learn diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, use Mercedes-Benz diagnostic tools, and progress through an approved apprenticeship with manufacturer training. The program emphasizes safety, quality checks, teamwork, and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship (1st–4th year).
• Hands-on automotive experience in an automotive shop, dealership, tire shop, or similar environment.
• Basic experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs (oil changes, brakes, tires, general servicing).
• Familiarity with basic diagnostic tools and automotive systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to continue learning.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and routine services.
• Learn to use Mercedes-Benz diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and dealership safety standards.
• Work alongside experienced technicians and service advisors.
• Complete quality checks and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Continue developing skills through apprenticeship and manufacturer training.
