Job summary

The Service Technician at Mercedes-Benz Langley is responsible for vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance following manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies. You will report to the Service Manager and contribute to high customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and timely communication.

Ideal candidates hold Automotive Technician certification or are in an apprenticeship (Red Seal asset).

Qualifications

• Automotive technician certification or enrollment in an equivalent apprenticeship program (Red Seal an asset).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders, technical bulletins, and manufacturer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to repair orders and standards.
• Road test vehicles before and after servicing to ensure safety.
• Document all services and repairs clearly in work orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Meet or exceed productivity and efficiency objectives set by the Service Manager.
