Job summary

Canada One Auto Group's Whitby Oshawa Honda dealership is seeking a full-time Service Technician. A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience or a Third or Fourth Year Apprentice is required, along with a valid G class license with a clean driving record.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles to shop specifications, assist other mechanics, and communicate with customers about work performed. Opportunities for growth exist within the group.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or be an Apprentice in Third or Fourth Year.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be a team player.
• Maintain records of maintenance performed and parts used.
• Excellent time management with attention to detail.
• High motivation, energy and strong customer service skills.
• Maintain a safe work area.

The Position:

We are looking for a full-time Service Technician with a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience or a Third or Fourth Year Apprentice. You must have a valid G class license with a clean drivers abstract.

• Diagnoses and repairs to shop specifications
• Assisting other mechanic(s) in performing technical activities
• Advise and explain to customers on work performed
• General vehicle conditions and future
• Follow warranty policies and procedures on all warranty work
• Diagnoses cause of malfunction, utilizing all available resources

About You:

• Must have a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification - or be an Apprentice in your Third or Fourth Year.
