Job summary

Leggat Blue Mountain Honda is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles in a busy, growing shop.

You will diagnose malfunctions, perform road tests, and explain repairs to service advisors while upholding safety standards. A Class G license and a fully licensed 310S status are preferred, with apprenticeship considered for 3rd or 4th year.

Qualifications

• Licensed automotive technician with strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work in a busy shop and collaborate with colleagues.
• Comfort with explaining repairs to service advisors and customers.

Your Role:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
• Maintain safety standards and a tidy work environment
• Perform road tests and safety inspections.

What you Bring:

• Prefer fully licensed 310S may consider 3rdor 4thyear of apprenticeship
• Valid Driver’s License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude
