Leggat Mazda of Hamilton is seeking a licensed 310S Automotive Technician to join our team. You will maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles, operate manual and automatic transmissions, and perform road tests with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3rd- or 4th-year apprentices may also be considered
• A valid Ontario Class G driver's licence and clean driving record
• The ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to quality workmanship and safety
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, positive and customer-focused attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs
• Accurately diagnosing the source of mechanical and electrical concerns
• Completing repairs efficiently and to manufacturer/dealership standards
• Inspecting vehicles and identifying additional safety, maintenance or repair requirements
• Communicating repair findings and recommendations clearly with Service Advisors
• Performing road tests and safety inspections
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment
• Working as part of a professional team committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

What You'll Do:

As a 310S Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping our customers' vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

Your responsibilities will include:
