Job summary

CSN Alaska Hi-way in Fort St. John, BC is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Technician to perform minor tune-ups, tire replacements, wheel alignments, and related maintenance.

The role requires journeyperson status or equivalent and you must supply your own tools. You will work with diagnostic equipment and repair electrical, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems, test roads after repairs, and ensure safety and compliance with OH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic or equivalent.
• Must have own tools.
• Knowledgeable in diagnosis and repair work.
• Ability to keep up with technology changes.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Experience with computer diagnostic programs.
• Ability to raise vehicles with jack/hoist.
