Qualifications

• 2–5 years proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
• Post Secondary School diploma or equivalent.
• 310S Mechanic License in good standing.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Driver's License with clean abstract.
• Ability to communicate professionally (verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and identify vehicle repair or malfunction.
• Perform repair or maintenance per company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect engine and road test motor vehicle; test automotive systems to locate faults.
• Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems for repair and upgrade.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure longevity and functionality.
• Repair or replace parts across fuel, braking, steering, engine, exhaust, climate and electrical systems.
• Document all vehicle repair and maintenance on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles as required.
