Job summary

OpenRoad Langley is seeking a skilled Technician to join the Jaguar Land Rover Langley Service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to strict factory standards, while ensuring safety and quality in every job and keeping customers informed throughout the service process.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully licensed Technician.
• Working knowledge of automotive equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and organized.
• Good interpersonal skills within the Service team.
• Valid Canadian driver's license with ability to provide driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and perform work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure work is performed to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with parts to obtain needed items; tag parts for warranty or customer request.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs and advise accordingly.
• Update dispatcher on job status and handle rush/customer-waiting notes.
• Complete documentation and road-test vehicles to verify quality.
• Supervise apprentices as assigned and attend factory training.
